History and place
Borgmästar’n is a family-owned restaurant in the heart of Gamla stan, where Swedish food tradition meets timeless elegance. Since 2009 we have welcomed guests to a historic house from the 1600s, where centuries of history live on in a warm and sophisticated setting.
Our kitchen and our philosophy
Quality is at the centre of everything we do. We work with good, fresh ingredients and cook all our food with care, precision and respect for classic Swedish cooking.
